went for a short plane ride for my lunch hour break today. conditions were great, and the scenery was gorgeous. we still have pretty good fall colors as the wind hasn't taken all the leaves yet. grass fields were green as a lot of the area crp lands have been baled for hay. don't think that i will go out and get a pilots license because of a mid-life crisis, but i surely do enjoy a break such as this once in a while. really gives you a chance to truely enjoy God's creation.
