Has anyone had any experience with HPCA Seo Empire :7AN434? My AI tech has some excess straws of him, but I was curious why he only appeared in the 2016 select sires catalog. His $EN epd is the lowest that I've seen. I'm wondering if that is reason for the quick departure.

It looks like his milk epd is 47...that might be the highest I have ever seen. That would give us in the south a little pause. Maybe more than a little.

I checked to make sure the epds were current and they are.
I promise you that you do NOT want to use a bull with a 51 milk epd anywhere.
I had genomic testing done on a cow and she has a milk epd of 39 and that is too much.
After the AAA changed the epds, most milk epds look a lot more moderate so 51 is way out there.
I think JMB Traction was around 51 for milk before the epds changed but is now 34 for milk.
