Elephantgrass

I came across this type of grass when I was doing some looking in my forages book, and was curious if any of you down south had any experience with this?

there are a few clumps around in roadside ditches.

(didnt know the name of it)

Wow. So absolutely NOBODY on CT has any experience of using this grass for grazing, eh? Hmmm....well, at least I asked.
