Dun, I wanted to let you know what finally worked on the calves I couldn't keep in my electric fence. I switched one of the hot wires around my pasture over to a ground wire. Then I added 2 more ground posts and then, about every 10 t-posts I tie wired the ground wire directly to the t-post. I haven't had a calf out since. I didn't run the ground wire directly to my fencer, should I? Thanks all for the help on my original question.

No need with the added ground rods and the t-posts. If it's working why change it around? Glad it worked out for you
