Elections influence?

I have planned to sell my 30(20steers,10heifers) calves weighing 350-600 lbs Nov2nd. However I hadn't even thought of the upcoming elections. Local prominent businessman and rancher mentioned today that I might want to wait until mid Nov. He said if elections go the way he figures then any uncertainty in currents markets should start to straighten out after Nov6. Opinions?
I should note I live in NE Oklahoma and sell in South Coffeyville, KS

Anything is possible but unless it's a presidential election I don't pay much attention to it.

Elections won't affect live cattle market or other markets for that matter... but New Moon November 7th will
and the 'experts' will explain after the fact how it is all due to the Nov 6th election.

We usually have a seasonal decline during October and November. Seems to be occurring again this year. I would call your KS sales barn. They will know more than a local rancher.
