Any body know what happened to him ain't seen him on here in awhile was just wondering he was pretty interesting to chat with? Was looking at cattlerange and saw he is selling his Buster beefmaster bull he posted on here back in March real nice bull.

last time he was on here was March 15th. Looked around Cattlerange some more and he is also selling his Beefmaster heifers. Hope all is well seemed like a nice guy.

yeah I got first calf tiger baldie and a six year old angus cow who just calved going to list those 2 pairs for sale. I have 2 heifers out registered Beefmaster cows and an angus bull 2 years old pretty sure they are bred need to check them was thinking about selling them if someone will give me what I want for them.

heres what id do but that is the way i think.id sell everything that wasnt reg beefmasters.take the money and buy back as meny reg beefmasters as i could.i to have 2 angus x beefmaster 1st calf heifers.ill keep them as long they calve and sell all of their calves.im going to the lonestar beefmaster sale next sat.going to see if i can buy some cows.

That's about what I was thinking. Right after I bought my bull at the Texoma sale in Mcalester I got my hands on 2 registered 5 year old cows for 1500 each, and I think I got lucky and they were bred to his bull RGB Mr. Spring Break a CF Illusion son hoping for 2 heifers but if I get bulls they should be some pretty good bulls I can get a pretty penny for and invest in heifers. Only 2 nonregistered cows I wanna keep a Beefmaster cow can't find her paper work to register her, and I have a half beefmaster half angus cow and she is just a great cow someone would have to break the bank for me to part with her. I have five part beefmaster part angus heifers 1 yearling the rest 6mo or younger will sell them later on probably get them bred. I got busy and didn't go to Emmons sale I bet there was some high price girls in there. Sulphur Springs is kinda far drive for me if I can't find something I want local there are a few sales in the fall close by but heck I have found so many Beefmaster ranches close by may can pick out of the pasture.

i know a few breeders close by but they wont turn loose of any young cows.so i do what i have to to get some cows.

yeah some breeders will and some won't sell heifers I was asking about heifers when I was looking at bulls. There are a few nice registered Heifers on cattle range some bred and some yearlings. That is a nice set of Buster heifers the guy I think is East Caney is selling 10 yearlings at 1500 a piece not to far from Sulphur Springs if you don't find anything there. I would be interested in them but I just bought a Buster bull and I don't usually get my cows from the same place I bought my bull. I don't know if you know Gene Hawthorne in Mt. Calm I have gotten a few from him all real good cows he don't have many but what he has looks pretty good.

gene is in south tx down in your neck of the woods.and thats to far to haul for me.i do some business with swingingB ranch not far from you.i sold 3 weaned heifers for $1500ea.thats why im looking for some cows.plus i have cows i need to sale.

Yeah Swinging B is Like 45 mins from me Gene is like 40 mins they are not to far apart then I have Frenzel over in Temple about an hour then Buckner and 4 Forks are just down the road about 15 mins then someone told me about a guy named Dennis Walker in Limestone county over by Groesbeck I think he use to be the Sherriff over there so between those when I get ready to buy I hope I can find some good heifers. Swinging B had a bunch of nice ones but I think they have taken most of them to sales. You did pretty good weaned heifers for $1500 I see yearling around that price. You ever buy anything from Rafter G in Springtown never been to there place but seen their animals on Facebook and they look like some real nice stuff.

i havent bought from rafter G ranch.the distance between breeders is why i always try to buy at the LSBBA sales twice a year if i can.

yeah there were some nice heifers at the sale in McAlester wish I had bought some. As far as I can tell looking around Sulphur Springs is the last major sale until October in Texas unless I missed one somewhere hope you find something.

if i come up empty at the sale ill be on the private treaty hunt.and if nothing there ill have to wait till dec.

The good thing about not buying now if it gets dry don't have to carry them through the summer. How far are you from Tulsa the Ozark fall female sale could be interesting in October. I was thinking about going I have had good luck at female only sales.

im a good 6hrs from tulsa and a long days drive to the ozarks.ill find the cattle just might have to pay more than i want.im going to try and make some contacts at the sale.

Took me 5 hours to get to get to McAlester and I think Tulsa is another hour so I am about 6 hours. Don't know why they call a sale in Tulsa Oklahoma Ozark female sale. I want to go just cause I have had such good luck at all female sales in the past getting some solid deals but it is a long ways off. When I was bull shopping even if they didn't have a bull I wanted still wanted to make contacts because I knew I would need heifers also talked to a few breeders at the sale in McAlester I hope I found enough people locally that I don't have to travel far for quality girls.

I'm alive! I've just been super busy, and I haven't been logged on. I rarely make my way outside the breeds board, so I missed this for quite a while. All is well. I've sold some heifers and, in my opinion, replaced them with others that raised the floor and ceiling for my small herd. I'm still shopping from what I believe to be one of the better breeders of Beefmasters.
