Duck meets squirrel

Pretty foggy this morning, but I saw a couple of wood ducks land in an oak tree behind the house. The resident squirrel just had to come check one of them out. Happened to have my little sony camera in my jacket pocket.

They got a lot closer than that--bill to nose right before the duck flew off, but I wasn't quick enough with my camera.
That's a fat squirrel--and should be--he climbed up the sides of my shop, went in thru the open eaves and feasted on cattle cubes all winter.

That is way cool.
I constantly marvel at the wood ducks flying in my bottom.
That is a small duck with a large jet up his butt, how in the world they
can fly through the timber like they do is amazing.
