Yep. Last week I went to the Northeast TN Beef Expo put on by the UT extension up in Greeneville. A vet there talked about the dangers of Dallasgrass. He said he had seen a lot of it this year. He even managed to find some at the UT testing station. From the way he talked it must be pretty common here in TN.
 
All you have to do is use a bush hog and cut the grass just below the seedheads to rid any perceived problems.

It's the orange fungus growing on the seedhead that causes the problem, not actually the grass it self.

Dallis is the best forage grass you can have here.
