I agree. These are the same people telling us that there was no drought in Montana in 2000-2001, but the local weather guys were saying that this drought was worse then the one in 1930's.

White areas are "normal". Not any change from normal. Not wetter, not dryer.

We've had more rain here since Oct. 1st than we had the last 9 months...
Our creek at home is back flowing from the rains we've had..... Maybe 3" total in the last few months and mostly lately.
Wheat in the pastures are coming up and the rye in the hayfield looks mighty fine... this is our first time or need for it.
It seems we have better grass right now than we had all summer..... even though that maybe only 1/2 true.
I hope it is better next year...we aren't out of the woods yet.
