Went to a supply store today and was going to pick up a drencher. They had a couple different types with the only real difference being ones with a ball on the end of a flexible hose, and one with a rigid piece of tube between the ball and the flexible tube. Does anyone have any opinion on which one is easier to insert down the throat? Any recomendation is aprecciated.

> Rick If it is a calf that you want to drench or tube, then yes you want a flexible hose with a small ball on the end to make sure it doesn't go down the windpipe. If the animal is over 500 pounds I wouldn't worry about the ball on the end as you'll know of you enter the wrong tube. The animal will let you know and yo'll hear a breathing or raspy sound from the tube.
