down calf

I have a bottle calf that went down and almost died. Miraculously it lived and is now healthy but acts as if it possibly had meninjitis possibly brain damage and has no balance can anything be done?

Could be or if it tends to walk in circles and bangs into stuff could be listeriosis(sp) i.e. circling disease. Did this just start after it had apparently recovered or coincidental with it?
