They are becoming very popular around here for various applications. Ive heard good things about using them for spraying white wash on hothouses and spreading predatory mites in crops.

There are several spray operators around here with drones. For $25,000 I could hire them a lot of times and not have worry about maintaining the drone.

Yes lots of differences in the world. One of the things is simply the amount of weed spraying that is done. I work some for a rancher in the Okanogan in the 80's. Back then he was spending $10,000 a year helicopter spraying knapweed. Here there is very little weed spraying. Last year I used 5 gallons of 24D spraying mostly thistle along the irrigation ditches.

2, 4-D is a broadleaf herbicide, so yes
