Discouraging start

You all know I'm new at this. Only my second calving year.

We had a nice but a little crazy Herf Cow that had bad prolapse about three months age, total loss.

Was worried to death when another Herf cow seemed to have a small anal prolapse ,Vet said dont worry? and have a healthy Bull calf , but she kicked it around a day or two.

Now another Herf cow has a small heifer calf unassisted, looks spry,, sleeps alot and is only nursing two teets and the other two are tight full. Ill give it a couple days before i do something, Heifer born last Thursday.

I have 1 more cow that I bought "BRED" never been preg checked and I have her heifer calf i guess calf is 10 months.

I know Im 2 for 2 now on live birth, so i could be worse,, sure looks like if i Cull Hard , Ill be outta girls. :bang:

As young as that calf is I usually do nothing in that situation Bill. She should get to them soon.

Well, its all part of the starting and learning. Sorry to hear you're having more of the rough stuff, but it should get better. Don't give up.
