I finished rolling 133 4 by 5's today. When I was putting up eq., I was disconnecting the new hyd. on the rake. I could not break it apart. I
am thinking that I still have pressure in the line. Do I need to break the line on the rake and release pressure? Or do what?

Yes, Take your end fitting and hose and loosen the 2 until some fluid leaks out and you should be good to go. Do you get what im saying? I had that happen to me once then I learned chain the 2 sides together always and let the pressure off and them hold each other up by the chain.

All I do is bump the hydraulics either up or down (bakwards & forwards/left & right) just a little to release the pressure.

Sometimes that doesn't work so I opt for what I know for sure will work. btw not to discredit dun but thats just what I do. I have done it the way dun does and got lucky but now if it happens and im off the tractor i just reach for the tools and loosen the fittings.

I'm to cheap to squirt hydraulic fluid around. Sometimes it takes a couple of trys but I watch the hose. As soon as it moves a little I just pull it.

lol we both have issues I am too lazy to keep climbing up and down off the tractor and you are too cheap to loose the fluid... :lol2:
