deere john 148 loader

how do you take the hydralic cylinder apart got one,,,, edit its a 148 loader... dont know what i was thinking :cowboy:

Once upon a time I had one, think the cylinders had flanges that were bolted on to hold the packing in.

If you can, put up a pic.

Probably going to depend on the brand. JD has one you remove a cap screw from the side of the cylinder and then have to release a snap-ring from around the shaft thru a 1/4 diameter hole.

found the snap ring right inside the cylinder, had to push the end cap back to find it... came right out :oops:
