Has anyone else tried Dectomax pour-on wormer? I decided that I had used ivermectin long enough it was time to change. The farm store owner said it was good. I intend to try Valbazen next year. Got all but the adopted Holstein calf wormed last night. The Dectomax measuring and pouring device is much better than the Ivomec or generic ones.

The scale goes up to 1100 pounds, twice what the Ivomec measuring system does. Much easier for measuring the amount for mature animals. There is an adjustment nut on top instead of the Ivomec style. I don't even have to run my Herefords in the chute to pour it on them. Scatter a couple gallons of cubes in the trough, and pour them while they eat.

Dectomax is a great wormer, I would have used it this year but found a good deal on Ivomec pour-on. We used it 2 years ago, and in my opinion performed well. I think you'll find it's a pretty good bang for the buck. we also sell it.(I'm not advertising) ;-)
