I found out that it's hard to take a picture of a fence. Here's a couple though:

This fence was standing up better last year before I sprayed and killed all the vines and whatnot holding it up, thinking I would put two or three strands of hotwire in its place. Not gotten around to yet. Still holding the cows in though.

A pile of wire from other fence replacement projects. Awaiting burial.

This truck is still usable! Sorry, beefy I forgot to get a pic of my worn out tire pile.

If you keep that truck much longer its gonna be worth $50,000. What year is it? 67?

Also, have you ever noticed old fence doesn't seem to rust as bad as the new stuff?

Finally! A competition worthy of my participation. Now if I can only decide where to start...

You're just jealous because none of your trucks are in that good of condition.

even your pile of junk wire is neat and organized.

Yeah, there's a term for people like that. I think irritating is the term I'm looking for

theres nothing wrong with that fence. i still see squares.

Yeah, the pics I took of holes spliced with barbwire didn't show up good, so I didn't post them.

I think it's a '70. But, could be a '69 or '71 even. I've had a couple of those and I'm not good at keeping year models straight.

I've noticed that some of the old fence doesn't rust as bad as some of the other old fence. :)

Don't bury that old wire. Around here it brings about $60/t as scrap iron.

They won't buy old wire here.

It's clogs the shredder.

I don;t know why, but they won;t buy it here either

Took a load of scrap steel and about 40rod of woven wire and got $100/t. The dealer said he didn't know why your dealers would not take it. Up here they mash the wire down and move it with magnets.

Here's a pic of one I've been working on replacing. Cows don't really get out here much cause there's nothing but a swamp behind it.

Not bad. Not bad at all. You should be able to put that job off at least until the next decade.

Actually was working on it this weekend and was wondering where in the world those great big hawk-like mosquitoes came from. About dust, they were everywhere! Also about dusk, I also remembered the ole saying, "if it ain't broke don't fix it."
