We celebrated my mom and dads anniversary today they have been married 64 yrs and raised 7 children dad will be 85 next month and mom is 81
they have endured hardships and had struggles but they never gave up on each other or their children

as plumber greg told me earlier 20 yrs from now there won't be many people that can say they have been married 64 yrs
so heres to my mom and dad :drink:

That's great news, amazing what can be accomplished by following God's plan for families. Tell them congratulations for me :tiphat: . Some pics would be nice too, hint hint.

Sounds like a fine example of "Family". I don't know too many people now that can say they have been married 64 yrs. Congratulations

Definitely something to be proud of Angus. Seems a lot of folks no longer take their wedding vows that seriously. Best wishes and hopes for many more anniversaries.

Congratulations to them. My folks made it 53 years before my dad passed and my in laws had their 60th last August. 64 is a definite accomplishment.

Congratulations to your folks. Mine made it to their 60th 2yrs ago. I doubt that my Dad will see the 65th. It gets pretty tuff after they turn 80.

That is certainly an achievement!

I just can't imagine a 21 year old and a 17 year old getting married today and make it work, I know I wouldn't have been ready when I was 21.

My granpa and granma on my moms side only made it 55 yrs but that was because granpa dies at the age of 94 he didn't get married til he was 39
Granma was 17yrs younger than him and after granpa passed she said she thought about remarrying but she couldn't find anyone she thought she could put up with so she just had her baby sister move in with her
