Went in on Friday morning and the surgeon found out how bad her left knee really was! The ACL was not torn as first thought but the ligament had been completely pulled off! So that explains why her knee was so loose. Doctor fixed it, just so glad we did not wait as long as the other doctor wanted us to. Scares me to think of how bad the damage would have been while waiting those 2 to 3 years.
She is back in school and on crutches. School bus is bringing her right to the house. She is listening to everything the doctor told her to do. She is sleeping on the couch upstairs so she does not have to go up and down the steps.
Pretty much just taking it easy.
