I built one of those and should have paid closer attention to detail. My rope is not far enough back from the center. It works, but it is not at the angle Dun's is at.

Sorry its a pet peeve of mine on the couple forums im on people don't take the 3 seconds it takes to type up a location on there typically because they just make the name to ask a question never to be heard from again. It annoys me sorry

when you were born did you walk that day??? a lot of people that join forums do not have the experience or foresight to know It is your pet peeve. It take experience to use the search function here and most don't see that their location is relevant until it is explained. It annoys me that when people are searching for answers they are condemned because they did not follow the unwritten rules. some people also prefer to me anonymous. This is an internet forum and not the loan dept at the local bank...................this forum has always been helpful to newbs that ask the same questions over and over again.

When they started making a person register it was 6 months that I just lucked before I finally convinced myself that it was OK to register. But it is good for people to put what part of the world they are from. My answer to a question might be totally different than an answer from a person in Florida. And if the OP had been from Colorado there is a strong possibility we would both give the wrong answer.

Use Advanced Search if you want to narrow the results down. If you know who posted the reply or thread, click the "Search for author" option.
Narrow it down further, by choosing which section(s) to search in------you wouldn't want to have to search Hunting and Fishing if you are looking for a post by a specific member regarding calving problems.

Search for keywords:
Place + in front of a word which must be found and - in front of a word which must not be found. Put a list of words separated by | into brackets if only one of the words must be found. Use * as a wildcard for partial matches.

Options:
1. Search for all terms or use query as entered
2. Search for any terms
3. Search for author: __________

You can also put your keyword in "quotation marks". This prevents undesirable results from showing up. If you wanted results for Angus calf put it in quotations and you won't get every single result for calf or Angus--you will only get results for both.
If you were (for instance) looking for "potato gun" you would get results only for a tater gun--but not all the posts for potatoes in the garden section and not all the posts with the word gun in them from the hunting/fishing section.
(some words tho are just too common and numerous--you will get an error message if you search just for "calf".)
