I'm away for work until tonight but my wife informed me there's a cow with a cut teat that was gushing blood but it's under control now. What should we do for her? I imagine she won't let the calf suck from it and I'll have to milk that quarter out. What should we put on the cut or is there something I should give her?

Without seeing it the possibilities range from stitching it up and keeping cow on Metacam for a few days to benign neglect.

I had a cow with the entire outer layer either ripped off when she stood up or bit & split by her calf. Vet said only thing to do was spray with Blue Kote then follow up with fly spray because it was in the summer. And another cow blew her teat off with mastitis. Vile!!! But it's amazing how well they heal with just a little palliative care.
