Has anyone heard from Texas Bred?
I lost his phone number when my phone took a swim a while back.
Since 2004 we have lost a lot of members that have passed on.
Board has added a few from the original 200.

I sure miss Texas Bred,
Another that I miss is Bigfoot, I never met him in person we were on opposite ends of the state, but we messaged some. He gave me some insight during a complicated time I’ll always be appreciative of that. I think I grieve the loss of him as much as I have some close friends that I saw fairly often.

Maybe Tennessee Tuxedo and JMJ Farms will come back.

Dun is the first person I remember before I joined. Always enjoyed Bigfoots comments too.
First - Dun was a great guy, an experienced cattle guy, and a good moderator. He is very missed as well as his wisdom. Wisdom is way beyond smarts and knowledge.

For a little humor from the past - I remember what a famous former member said when someone mentioned TT after he and another regular poster chose to drop out.

Former straight shooter member said"
"Not saying I miss em but I miss having them around. Neither one knew what end of a cow to put the hay in or even what end of a shovel goes to the ground. But they where "entertaining"."

I bet people can guess who said that.

TexasBred was one of the people who "liked" that comment.

Love it .
TB and I bantered on the board as fun just trying to get the others goat.
We would play devils advocate with each other just for fun.
I lost his phone number when my phone dove into Rayburn I didn’t get everything back from the cloud.

I have no clue to the personal conversations Dun and I had since 2004.
I miss both as well as some others.
That’s the bad part about the board we don’t always know who passes away.

I'm on another forum a lot and developed what I would call a close friendship with a guy in Tuscaloosa. We exchanged e-mails and eventually phone conversations. He got in an accident in August and was having a hard time. Paralyzed from the chest down. Then the hospital kicked him out with no warning. I spoke to him a couple of times and he was pretty morose, and then his phone went dead and he's not responding to e-mail. I haven't seen an obituary, so don't know what to think.

I sure hope TB is ok and has just moved on from the board.

I had the pleasure to meet Bigfoot and his son. Actually sold him a bull, he passed about a year later.
