With the current reports and weather in ne, it looks to me like it might be a year to hold and sell fats. Your thoughts?
 
If you got corn, and lot space I don't know of a good reason to not retain ownership. If you got spare grass you can make some real bank come October.

From what I'm seeing, about 158 for 850's, I'm good with that.
 
The talking heads are into more prevent plant acres and less corn production this year. So not great news for beef producers. A good marketer would lock in his feed and cattle prices at a profit.

With the increase in hay prices - - a grazer should rerun the numbers on grass cattle vs. cows. Light heifers looked good the last time I did this.
