I do not understand these but did read that some banks are going to create theirs to facilitate trades. Someone explain to me what this is all about and who keeps up with who owns what. Is the value of these created out of thin air. What would my calves be worth in bitcoin and who pays me for them. Can I sell them a pretend calf for a pretend bitcoin.

7002 bitcoins are worth 250.8 million dollars - but don't lose your password

In 2011 Stefan Thomas a German born computer programmer living in California was paid 7002 bitcoins for making a video "What is Bitcoin?" for an early bit-coiner in Switzerland. In 2012 he used Iron-key to protect his bitcoin account in case future cryptographers could hack complex codes and wrote down his password on a slip of paper. Fast forward 8 years, he has lost the paper and has forgotten the password.

Iron-key allows him 10 tries before locking him out forever. He has tried 8 possible passwords and says he has laid awake nights knowing he will never be able to unlock his bitcoin account.

In 2020 PayPal added cryptocurrency option for investment trading or payment to over 26 million retailers. Paypal stock was up 86% in 2020 from 115 to 215 per share and with expected crypto boom should be a good buy for the next year or 3 (IMHO)
