CRC Boluses

Are there any available down stateside-there doesn't seem to be any up here. I'm going to Montana next week so I could get some sent there if anybody knows where there are some.

Checked Elanco website and the boluses are not listed as a USA product, but are listed on the Elanco Canada site.

Looks like they are not available in the US.

Really-the guys who graze alfalfa use them quite a bit up here.

I am assuming it is boluses that release chronium and considering NR's post about grazing alfalfa it must prevent bloat;or something like that.

As far as I know they release rumensin slowly-I'm going to lose a couple A'I projects unless my customers can find some.

I remember a couple years ago I was going to be turning my heifers out to really rich grass with lot's of alfalfa and I called all the feed mills to see if I could give them anything before hand as prevention.It is always better to prevent then to treat after the fact.I think I talked to 7 different feed mills in the area and no one new of anything besides feeding rumensin in a grain ration?So I am assuming that you called your vet clinic and nutritionist also.I don't know why we can't get anything like that anymore.Keep us posted if you find any as this year may be a bad one for bloat with all the rain we have been having.Good Luck I hope you don't lose your clients.

Every clinic has them back ordered-I guess the the dairy guys are getting kind of worked up if the can't find any.
