Craigslist Nags

I was curious and looked the horse up. He is 14 years old. Poor guy needs some groceries.
He was owned by someone in Marlin years ago.

I thought I posted this before, but don't see it. I wonder how far back peppy San badger was?

Never said that he was worth $5K.
Do you know the horse?

I wasn't saying you were I was just saying all the feed in the world wouldn't make him a $5000 dollar horse

no I don't know the horse do you know who owned him in Marlin I know there are some crooked guys around here who can fake some reg papers I know it has happened before

That's actually a pretty impressive set of papers on that horse. I son of peppy sand badger was actually alve and well here in the county I live in, untill last spring. He had never stood at stud, and not really ever been asked to do much. He was just a pasture ornament.

And you think you can trust Craigslist why? Its easy to fake papers, so you need to do some investigating before you put the money down. I think that if this was on the level, the stud would be offered somewhere besides Craigslist. Just my humble and often wrong opinion.

Actually it is quite common for a horse like this to be offered on Craigslist. Nothing is mentioned about his training. They don't even say that he is rideable.
He is well bred, but just because a horse has good bloodlines does not mean that the horse is a good individual.
The photographs are horrible. You can't even see how he stands or what is front feet look like.
