We have a Priefert so1 squeeze chute that is getting too small for our older cows.
We have Angus and Simmental cows. What's the price for a hardly used chute?
Do dealers take in smaller ones on trade?
What are some of your ideas and tips?
Thanks.
Jeff

Some of my cows have a tight fit in my Priefert SO4. I suspect it is a little bigger than the SO1.

Thanks for the info.
I just need to get a bigger chute we have some younger cows coming up and the vet. said next year more won't fit.
Thanks again Jeff

We have a pearson and a few of our cows could barely fit this year... several were squeezed when they got in with it opened fully...

Interesting this post came up. I tried today to work Cattle to start to set up for AI and cows came off grass and a bunch didn't fit. I had no idea there was different sizes for width. Luckily I have a buddy's tub system in the shed so we moved that around and that has a bigger chute on it. Definitely learning experience.
