How was that supposed to work..cows don't sleep standing up with their legs locked,horses do tho... :)
 
everone you can talk into it. ssh be quiet they wake up easy, just slip through the fence and sneak up an........ :lol:
 
I think it's just one of those things that sorta sounds right so people believe it. When you drive up the interstate you see cows up walking around so if someone says cows sleep standing up and you don't know any better then the rest of the premise also sounds reasonable since when it is dark you can't see from the interstate how the cows are sleeping.

A non-farm friend once asked why when he sees cows in a field by the interstate they are all headed in the same direction.

one of my nephews confessed that he and another nephew tried cow tipping a few years ago - thinks it was the dog that kept "waking up the cows"
 
Cow tipping impossible snipe hunting possible. Actually have season in IL (or at least use to).

I actually had a guy tell me that he went cow tipping when he was in high school. I laughed and asked how many he tipped, he said 5. I just walked away laughing. :roll:
