Cow heat

I've got a angus cow 4/5 yr old just lost her calf, about 1 1/2 week old to coyotes, question is how long do you think before she comes into heat again with no calf ate her side now, found the calf this morning tail missing and back end been ate on, calf was healthy just bad luck

We had a cow lost her calf and she was back in and bred in 30 days. They all probably vary some but I would say that she should cycle pretty quick if she's in good condition.

Depending on the cows overall condition. She should breed back rather quickly. I would let her cycle once before breeding her.
