This is not a political thread and that is why I am putting it here, no politics on this one.
You have to admire the people of Ukraine. They have taken up arms to protect their homeland against the Russian invasion against overwhelming odds that they have no chance of winning.
President Zeelenskyy is still in Kyiv even though he had been told days ago to leave for his own safety because he is the number one kill target of the Russians. But he is still there and posting on social media to rally the citizens to fight.
A former President of Ukraine was videoed waiting line to be issued a gun to protect the city.
Thirteen soldiers on Snake Island were asked to lay down their weapons or they would be shelled by a Russian Warship. Their response used an expletive that I can't post here, but they have not been heard from since. (Look this one up).
An older woman was videoed walking straight up to an armed Russian soldier and told him to leave her country. She called him a piece of s**t for being there. (look up sunflower seed lady)
A fighter pilot known as the "Ghost of Kyiv" has been credited with six air to air kills against Russian Jets (this is unconfirmed) but he has become a hero in the country.
The unofficial Ukrainian motto for some time has been, "Freedom is our Religion".
CB posted about the Alamo a couple of days ago. This is the Ukrainian Alamo, and these brave souls should never be forgotten.
