Top of the Crop sale is Oct. 29th this year. JJ Detwiler and Sunny Side Farm. Usually good quality but high priced. Jordan's have good stock. I have the "pleasure" of showing against them at several county fairs.

I'll probably be there, just to be nosey. Can't have something like that goin' on at the neighbor's and not be nosey.
The next day is Jeff and Lou Harr's sale. J&L cattle and Friends I think they called it.
Find that catalog at the same place as Detwilers.
This sale takes place at the Old Big T home place.
Maybe a bit of a weak offering, but it is the first year for them to have this kind of sale. I wish them luck. They are good folk. I don't think I'll go to that one. Couple hours north of me and the price of fuel is a bit too much just to be nosey.
But, JJD has a bed and breakfast and I'm told that you can see Southern Cross when you walk into the main room of the B&B. Joe had him stuffed. :shock:
