i have worked the fair barn for yrs always take ol general ( my jack)and a mule. lots of people haven't seen donkeys or mules the old timers love to see them and tell old farm stories about there farmming with them.. last yr i took an highland ( t Bone) he was a big hit this yr i took t bone and grayson,, ppl are amazed with the hairy cows.. t bone has become a big baby.... heres a pic of him enjoying a good scratching

Thats great that you can share the animals with others taht don't have them and give them an experiance they won't soon forget. I always love going to the petting zoo at the fairs, even though we have a ton of animals at home its always fun to go somewhere else and see someone elses animals. That picture of the highland is great, you can tell he liked that scratch.
 
We all have a place in this world of ours!

I for one commend you for participating in your fair. There are alot of children these days, that aren't lucky enough to be raised around animals.

We take our longhorns to as many local county fairs as possible. They are always a big hit with the crowd. Mostly, though we have to answer the question,"Why do you have all bulls?" :lol:
