Has anyone ever heard of cottonseed meal causing sterility in bulls? I heard this from a local farmer. He said it doesn't happen under all conditions but wasn't able to elaborate under what conditions it would. Around here, especially in years past, cottonseed meal was a staple supplement and I never heard of any problems.

I never heard of it causing anything like that before. BUT I know some people that if, we knew for certain it would work, should be fed some.

That sterility issue relates to whole cottonseed, not CSM. I've never had any problem with it.
