Costal/Bermuda

Excuse my ignorance but is there a difference between Costal hay and Bermuda hay or is it the same thing?

Costal bermuda grass is a varation of the Common bermuda grass. As a matter of fact, there are several varities of bermuda grass.

Hay comes from grass.

Coastal is a variety of bermuda. "bermuda hay" could be anything from Alycia to Tift 85 to common bermuda, etc but "coastal hay" SHOULD be spefically coastal bermuda.
