What's the best verity of corn to plant so that I can pick it with my corn picker. Seem like what I plant seem to shells out to easy

Probably a problem with your picker not the corn

Your moisture was probably too low, kernals pop off easier at low moisture. Also narrowing the deck plates on the head rows will help. Also can slow down the roller speed, but you will have to drive slower and risk plugging.

In my opinion the best time to pick corn is early morning or late evening when the dew is on it. It will pick cleaner.
