I sold a couple thousand bushels of corn the other day for $7.89 bushel, he said grinning ear to ear, but with gritted teeth as I remember I also sold 3,000 bushels in February for $6.30
Pack a lunch. You are going to be there a while with the inflation so high..Both are good prices. You could always sit on it till it drops back to $4. Haha
My dad's hauled grain his whole life. Can't believe how many clean out full bins in August, watching prices rise and fall, then sell because they have to make room for new crop. Those are the people with inherited money normally, don't have to worry about making bills. Both are good prices. You could always sit on it till it drops back to $4. Haha
Know of some folks that earned their money back in the 50,60,70's the hard way feeding cattle. Several years ago they put up another 50k bin because the other one was full and they didn't need to sell any.My dad's hauled grain his whole life. I'll bite. We're going all beans. First time ever.I've heard talk of a lot more acres going into soybeans this year, because of high fertilizer prices for corn. I don't know if it's true or just talk.
yup - That's exactly what I've heard a few local guys say. We're going all beans. First time ever.
