OK, who else is gonna get the fall air? Forcast here is a 20 degree drop from today, to Monday. High on Monday is supposed to be 80 degrees, with a low of 57 Monday night  . Hats off to the weather man :tiphat: Iffin it happens for real, it will be the first day below 90 since early June. We were 99 today, with a dry breeze. I told my darlin companion she'd better sleep with one eye open, cause if the temps drop that much, my neck is gonna swell :lol2:

I'm anxious; been in the closet and the drawers admiring my flannel and lohn johns.

102 here yesterday and 98 today. Supposed to be high of 75 Monday. That's gonna feel good.

Holy poo, sounds like other folks are getting some of the good life. I just checked the forecast again, and it's 56 for Moday night!!! Like president Starky says, "things are gettin better all the time"

And by the way VanC, your Pink Floyd video post was cool. I also just got high speed and had never even seen a youtube anything before 3 weeks ago. I didn't know anybody else like them.

Front should be here Sunday morning. They say it's like a zero chance of rain tho. I guess you really can't have it all.

Here ya go.

Suppose to 39 here tonight. Do you want it?

Edited because I forgot to mention it has already snowed in Glacier Park.
This year set a record for the latest opening of Going To The Sun Road. July 13th I believe.

You too??? I got out early and mowed...had the mower deck as high as it would go. Didn't take long tho and no need for weed eating. Had more dog turds to grind up than anything. :lol2:

Interesting. I'm running a temp hot wire today, so I can turn the cows in on my yard. I think I've only mowed 3 times all summer. We've had some recent and respectable rains, and right now the yard grass is thick and lush. Latest updated forecast for us; high 78 labor day, 53 that night. Can't wait

I doubt there's enough moisture in the ground down here for a hotwire to even work. :cry2:

Good thing cows are scared of wire......I can keep em out of the yard as long as the calves don't tear it down. Been watering the yard lately to give the calves something green to eat...don't have enough to turn the cows in... :D

TB, mostly mowed the weeds the calves didn't eat...

I'm glad you liked it. I like good music no matter what kind or where it comes from. Been checking out the video thing myself. Kinda like a whole new world opened up.

I’m learning that the internet is forever. 2011/2012 were some brutal hot and dry summers.
Today, in 2023, is going to be our hottest day so far this summer. If the forecast holds, we’ll be near 20 degrees cooler in two days. I might start wearing clothes again.

Top of the morning to you all.

We've been moderately dry and a little cooler than average this summer until this past week, and then the tap turned on, naturally since it's fair week here. An inch last Saturday rained out one of two nights of rodeo. Wednesday brought from 3.5 to 8 inches in the area. We were on the low side, thankfully. It's raining again this morning too. Hardly a 90 degree day in sight, which is highly unusual for August, we expect dry and at least mid 90's this month. I'll take it, the crops look great. We can get by with a moderate drought like we had earlier this year as long as the temps stay down, which was the saving grace for the crops earlier on.

We're in the 70s this weekend. Ground is moist. I'm gonna set some H braces and corner posts this weekend. May-type weather with hot and dry weather supposed to be coming in a week or so. Better get out and enjoy it. I don't care for weather above about 85*
