Contest (June) - "Church buildings"

This ought to be a 'good' one ;-) . You may include cathedrals, basilicas, abbey churches or the less complex but still beautiful parish churches.

You have time to submit your entry up until 21 June, the voting poll will be held from 22 - 30 June. All entries to be submitted via personal message to myself, alisonb, on or before 21 June. The winner will be announced on 1 July. Pic dimensions should be 640 x 480 pix(or close to that) so please resize before submitting.

Hard to take a pic in the south of just one church. Most will have a minimum of 4 or 5 in any pic you take.

There's a little old church about 2 miles away from me... it'll do for this

The little and old wooden church out near Plum Grove always had a wooden stacked rail zig-zag fence and was set back in some pines--we called it the little church in the wildwood, like the hymn. Drove out to take a pic of it today, fence is gone and the simple old steepled church has been replaced with a big modern metal structure. If it weren't for the sign and a cross on the front of the metal siding, you'd never guess it was sill a church.
