This week we are looking for those spectacular pics you have taken or will take of wildlife...alive please not a trophy hanging on the wall .

You have until 6 July to submit your pic, the voting poll will run from 7 -13 July and the winner will be announced on 14 July. All entries to be submitted to hillsdown via personal message. Pic dimensions should be 640x480 pix(or close to that) so please resize before submitting.

Cool.. I'll get one in this time Nearly ran over a fawn today with the mower, and his mother wasn't very concerned about anything, she was in the center of the field watching me go around.. finally got up when I was about 30 ft away from her.. got a couple pics but needed better zoom than what the cell phone has

I missed a potentially very nice photo yesterday - harrier hawk sitting on a fencepost, of course it was not only off the post, but too distant to even feature, by the time I'd got my camera out and switched on.
Birds are difficult to catch on camera.
I might manage a snail, or even a slug, for you.
