Contest 28 Jan - 3 Feb "Winter Woollies"

We are looking for pics of Winter Woollies - take a pic of someone dressed up to brave the cold feeding cattle or checking on calving etc, a pic of your dog/horse kitted out with a blanket, a horse/cow(or you :shock: ) that has grown a fluffy winter coat. Those of you that are wearing T shirts in Florida ;-) and other warmer areas are welcome to show us what your winter attire consists of as well. No bikini girls from Minnesota please .

The contest will run from 28 Jan - 3 Feb, the voting poll from 4 - 10 Feb. All entries to be submitted via personal message to hillsdown on or before 3 Feb. The winner will be announced on 11 Feb.

phoned a friend today who told me it was 31 C there, must have been nearly as warm here. Cows all sleek and shiny too.
Come to think of it - I have a photo of a herf-cross calf wearing a coat of white fluffy balls the night she was born. Not promising anything though, got someone coming to look at the phone line this week to see if I can get back up to 'normal' dial-up speeds.

I checked the cows, fed, walked around the place all in shorts and a tee-shirt yesterday. Had A/C on when went to bed. No wooly pics around here. I'll vote on one of those yankee pics tho. :mrgreen:

This should be interesting! I'm glad you pointed out no woolies from the North in bikinis. Now, Florida and bikini's go very well together

LOL!!! What does hub wear on that date? All teasing aside, I don't know how you can stand it. I guess it's all about adapting. It would be interesting to see the clothing getups ya'll jump into to keep from freezing to death. But, I'm not letting hook off the hook. I'm thinking he's got some good stuff in the camera.

Yea, with you being over there in the Banana Belt you are probably at least 5 or 6 degrees warmer :lol2: :lol2:
