companion seed for bahia planting?

I'm in southwest florida and am planting some small areas in my pasture with argentina bahia, was told brown top millet was a good choice, any recommendations and at what rates would be helpful also, Thanks!!

Common Bermuda is popular here it will cover quickly and provide grazing until the Bahia eventually chokes it out.
 
You are being instructed correctly. BRown top millet is what UF's facility in Ona has recommended for Bahia in the past for me. I think I used 10 lbs per acre and kept it mowed when it reached 6 inches. It grows quickly and can give too much shade if left to grow to maturity.
