I had one that way for days. gave her 1/2 gal of oil nothing happened. Next day gave her 1/2 gal oil and called the Vet He said to give her up to a Gallon. It had been 4 hour since I gave her the 1/2 gal and I went ahead and gave her a full gallon on top of the 1/2 gal. I also gave her some electrolytes and ant acid on the vets recommendation. Don't know if that was a good Idea or not because she really got the bloat and I had to tube her again. I guess I finally got enough oil down her and it did the job, but it was 10 hours later. I'm just thinking maybe you didn't give her enough oil.

I agree with MR3.. probably not enough oil. It takes time for it to work through the gut.

It also can depend on which end you put the oil in, front or back. If it's the rumern the front nd if it's the later partsd of the stomach or the colon, the back end.
