All together now: r-e-t-i-r-e.

At least Penn State needs to get him a life alert pendant.
I ain't with you on this one John. Joe-Pa is a legend and the greatest coach in CFB history in my humble opinion. I hope he coaches till he's 105. He still gets it done. I hope I never have to stop doing what I love because someone half my age thinks I won't get it done. Penn State was nothing special before he got there and they will return to mediocrity when he is gone.

I agree, it's was time a few years ago to have Joe retire. 84 and getting blind sided by wide outs is not a good combo. But they better not do it Bobby Bowden style  .

JS, do you think the Horns are in another rebuilding year?

I'm not much of a MAC brown fan... how ever I am a will muschamp fan and plan to be at the Florida / Bama game...I'm not sure about the horns rebuilding there is so much talent in Texas .. I think Florida and Texas has the same problem ... the lack of a ligit qb.

The 'horns always have to worry about being able to get enough players bailed out of jail at one time to field a full team........ :hide:

I do believe the sooners will win it ..and probably play Oregon.. if Oklahoma only wins one game I want it to be the fsu game ... I'm so tired of listening to my buddy tell me how Florida state is back just because they beat Florida last year .... fsu went 8 and 5 and they are just about claiming a national title lol .... Florida has a freshman qb that I think will be starting by the 3 rd game.... he's gonna be good just needs playing time ...

Well unless someone messed up today, only one of their safeties is currently in jail. :cowboy:

Poor recruiting year, I guess.

Its almost impossible to recruit a 4 or 5 star kid with out giving him at least 2 get out of jail cards...

Your forgetting the new tradition of the father also getting a cut of the benefits ;-)
You mean like the new fellowship hall at the Church of "What's Happening Now" over in Bama?? :lol2:

Wow to be able to pick the teams to play in the national title game this early, you folks must do well in Vegas, and to pick the Sooners to win it all,Wow.

So if you had a free bet on who wins the national title and you got a million bucks if you were right, and nothing if you were wrong, who would you pick?

Im not a big fan of making early predictions, in college football or the NFL, but if I got a free bet for a million to win and nothing to loose Id take Alabama.

I'd probably put my money on Oklahoma but I'd be rooting for Oregon.
And root against the Big 12? :bs: I see how you are TB. Your team jumps ship for the SEC so you go a year sooner. What do you think about A&M in the SEC?
