cold morning

I walked out this morning to take my dog out and it was freezing well to me. We have had 102 to degree weather so it was nice to have a cold front.

I know what you mean.... kind of. We've been up around the 106 area most days here, and when i've been heading out to work it has already been warm, almost hot. This morning there was actually a "coolness" to the feel outside, and the breeze was cool, too, not a hot wind like it has been. It has been awkwardly nice this morning.

I used to visit Jacksboro all the time when I was in college. I used to go with a boy whose parents had moved there from Dallas. His dad was a preacher that used to alternate preaching at two different churches. They combined the two congregations and they would go between churches every other Sunday.

Sleepy little town back then. (mid 80's). Is it any bigger now? Nice, though. The kind of town I wouldn't mind living in now. That is to say, far from the Metroplex.
