How many coffee drinkers do we have on CT? How do you like yours (strong, weak, black, cream, sugar, exotic etc)? What is your favorite brand and why? I like mine strong with Italian sweet cream. My favorite brand is 8 O'clock Coffee followed by Starbucks Christmas Blend. I really like the Dunkin Donuts and Green Mtn brands as well. I prefer to buy the beans and grind my own though I am digging this single serving Kuerig coffee maker my wife bought.

I like a dark grind coffee, I make it too strong for most folks, but I drink it all hours of the day--at least two 12 cup pots/day--a habit I picked up in the Navy. Black with just a little sugar or honey. Don't care much for starbucks and I hate the Kuering my brother has. It does make good coffee, but when I want a mug of coffee, I want it right now, and pour it instead of waiting for the Kuering to make one cup at a time.
Lots (most) of days, I'll just leave today's leftover coffee I didn't drink in the pot till next morning, put it in a cup in microwave for the first cup of next morning, while I'm waiting for the pot to make a new batch. I generally have to buy a new coffeemaker every year tho. The switch always goes out. I do have a ceramic coated metal percolator I use if the power is out--make it on a camp stove since we are all-electric here--no propane.

Folgers. Strong. Heavy Whipping Cream. Two cups first thing in the morning. It is what I get up for! May have a mid day cup or afternoon. Not before bed and I go to bed early.

Used to only drink folders until I met my wife, now I drink whatever she buys. No Carmel or chocolate flavored, just stuff like kona or breakfast blend. Black with sugar, she can make it too strong but I drink it. When I get up before her I will also just nuke yesterday's coffee still in the pot from the day before ...... 1 minute 15 seconds I'm drinking coffee. Just a couple of big cups in the morning.

"Don't even look at me until I've had my first cup of coffee!" LOL!

Been drinking coffee for 60 years or so and like it strong and black. Not too hot. Use a "Mr. Coffee" (good for 1 year...lol) with regular percolator and a stove pot coffee pot for back-up. As long as the coffee is a major brand, I buy several large cans when they are on sale for my "stash". Tried Starbucks couple of times and not impressed...especially when I can brew my own for 10 cents a cup or so...if I'm on the road (rarely) I just fill my thermos.

First cup in morning is from yesterday's pot and microwaved cup for 75 seconds while my fresh coffee is brewing (about 10 minutes). Used to like the Gevalia Amaretto blend for special occassions, but they stopped selling it. I did drink some Farmer's Brothers coffee in Denton, TX. several years ago at a convenience store...liked it. But, if ordered on the internet was VERY expensive and I didn't do it.

About the only coffee I can't stand is the generic vending machine coffee which tastes like hot colored water...but, works in a real emergency...lol.

Drink coffee all day long until suppertime. Warm or room temperature, doesn't matter.

Just a cup or two in the morning, but GOTTA have it. Just seems like the fog doesn't clear out of my brain any more until that first cup of coffee. Just a spoonful of sugar, maybe some real cream or flavored creamer once in a great while. Seems like cream in the coffee makes it harder to digest. I like arabica bean coffee, the one we use now from Sam's club. Don't like Folgers as well. Don't like Starbucks, too dark/strong. Used to like Maxwell House but somewhere along the line they changed it. Do like the Dunkin Donuts coffee but won't pay that much for it day in and day out. My dad drinks coffee all day and all night, it adds up. Don't like the Keurig machines, seems like the most wasteful way in the world to make coffee. And when you have 3 people all waiting for their coffee, it takes longer than brewing a pot.

I'm not to picky about coffee. I seem to like it all even those flavored kinds. Mostly drink Maxwell House because that's what my wife buys. A little sugar. Sometimes I will put some kind of creamer in it in the afternoons just for a change. I drink a thermos bottle of coffee every morning and sometimes a cup in the afternoon especially on Sunday afternoon.

I drink Maxwell House coffee original blend and I like it real hot, medium strength with a little cream and splenda. Usually drink a pot a day, but when I'am fishing and can't sleep for a few days, I drink coffee around the clock. And Dunkin Donuts has some really good coffee, never been to a Starbucks yet.

I'm a Folgers strong and black type I like it to singe my nose-hair and burn a hole in my stomach. I drink a big cup on the way to my first stop and then another with breakfast eight hours later. I'm not much on flavorings but I have found that if you're really in need of some help waking up a couple of spoon-fulls of the café-Vienna that's made to be mixed with hot water will add a little "GO" to your day if you dump it into full strength coffee. ;-)

I like Folgers but the wife is hooked on Starbucks house blend so that's what we drink. Brewed VERY strong.

I like it black and straight...........

after dinner some French Roast or a European blend is OK but it has to be strong enuf to float a spoon!

The strongest and darkest I can find. Dunkin donuts is pretty good. I like to add a little sugar to make it bittersweet.

Folgers "Black Silk" seems to make the most flavorful for me. Two cups in the morning with Sweet and Low. No more during the day unless I'm working on something then I might have a cup mid afternoon. No more after that.

Dark hot and no additives or flavored stuff. I start the IV drip around 5 ish and pull the plug on it around 9.

However it comes out of the pot, just so long as I can't see the bottom of the cup. Strong, no sugar, no cream. Baileys Irish Cream or stout eggnog on special ocassions

I like coloumbian ground coffee and black and strong. I average a pot a day winter or summer.
And it's best not to mess with me of a morning until I've had my coffee fix.
I don't want it strong enough to float a spoon but I like the spoon to sink very slowly.
My sons's say they can take one cup of my coffee add enough water to it and make a decent pot of coffee. :D
Wife is a tea drinker and don't know how to make a good pot of coffee,so I always make it.
