Hi I have a few 3 week old calves that seem to have a bad case of coccidiosis. Does anyone have any tips or solutions? I have been using Trivetrin and peptobismol and it seems to help but takes a while. Any tips or comments would be helpful.

Have these calves actually been diagnosed as having coccidiosis - Eimeria oocysts observed on a fecal examination - or did you just decide that's what the problem is?
I'm presuming your vet made the diagnosis and prescribed the Trivetrin? If administered at the appropriate dosage, it should be effective - and I always liked the trimethoprim/sulfa combinations for treatment of a wide variety of enteric diseases in neonatal calves.
Doubt that the Pepto is doing anything helpful - but unlikely to hurt anything, either.

These calves in particular have not been diagnosed with having coccidiosis. I'm just going by previous experiance. The Trivetrin does seem to be working, and as for the pepto, well the vet had recamened it just to help with the stomich. These calves also seem to be over the hump and are back on there feet.
