Anybody ever purchase any firearms from them? Is it really a crapshoot?

There used to be a couple of grades available. The lowest was rack grade. Should have been called needs an arsenal rebuild grade.

They sell surplus military rifles and I was wondering if anybody had any luck with them. I am not interested in shooting it regularly, maybe a few times. I want it period authentic and not a new or completely rebuilt one. M1 Garand in particular. Would love an '03 but no such luck.

I live about 10 miles from the CMP South store here in Alabama. I go up to the store every so often. I have a good friend who runs the South store.

I believe any grade of shootable rifles they have would be fine for what you want to do.
