Had a cow to step on my foot today while working them. It has turned a bluish color and I can't get my boot on now.
So much for steel toe boots, she stepped on the side just below the ankle bone.Going right now to get me a glass of Jim Beam.

OUCH! that smarts, hope it is not broken....might be a bit swollen in the am, maybe good to get it checked out...all the best Cal.... Chris.

Sounds more like clumsy you. Imagine, putting your foot somewhere a dainty stepping cow could step on it. Never heard of such a thing.

PLEEEEZE! Go get an x-ray!! That's how my brother lost his foot, then his leg! Except it wasn't a cow,he dropped a motercycle on his foot, then wouldn't do anything about it for a WEEK!! He nearly died from stupidity
Don't you do the same!!

Cal, us old timers arent as agile, but more fragile. Be careful and I hope you will get better soon.
Tom.

hope your ankle isnt swelled up to bad this morning.i dont mind getting stepped on as long as they dont grind their foot on my foot.

Got up Sunday morning and the swelling had went down and was able to get my boot on and hobble around most of the day.
And this morning better yet. Guess I didn't break anything.Just sore to the touch and a little blue looking.I do think I will survive.

Thanks for ya'll concern.

Good luck with your foot ,that happened to me quite often at the dairy. I found that steel toe boots are a wasted expense when it comes to cows they step on the steel don't like then feel of it and move their foot back to where it is nice and soft.I have cracked that bone going to the big toe twice that way.. Stupid cows..

If you can wiggle your toes ice and rest should be just fine as well as some good ole fashioned pain killers. You know JD, JB, drambuie, whisky.. ;-)

Feel better Cal..

not the painkillers and booze together or you may look a bit

and it is quite dangerous to mix the two. Take care and try to keep the tootsies away from the Cows.

LOL Chrisy the booze is the pain killers.. :lol2: The only thing combined would be the alcohol concoctions... :help:
