Anyone use it before and have any tips on its use? I had some Bahia spots in Bermuda and so I sprayed some using crop oil as a sticker. Seems to be slow to work but it looks like its working but am concerned about the seed bank and whether a follow up spray is usually required.

I've used it a few times. I don't really have any tips except it's probably best to use in the spring before new seed heads form. That's what the label says anyway. I've always done like you and sprayed about this time of the year. In places I've sprayed, it takes the bahai about a year to recover to where it was when I sprayed it. If you spray yours again in the spring before seedheads form you can probably put it into some serious decline. I sprayed some my in brother in law's pecan orchard last year about this time of year and it wiped it out. I saw him last week and he wants me to come spray for the bahai under the pecan trees again.

Try Met-cel, it is a generic that is considerably cheaper. Sometimes you will have to hit it again depending on the weather and how bad the bahia is. I have had better luck spraying when its dry.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check the other too. I always forget to spray it in the early spring. It seems to act like poast as far as how quick it works. Bahia is definitely showing some signs of stress. I have enough for two applications so hopefully I'll remember and spray again in the spring.

I have used a product called Martins Clean Pasture it has Metsulifuron Methyl as the main product. Not very expensive 3/10 of an ounce to the acre for Bahaia. It will control about anything in the pasture by increasing the rate of the herbicide. The last I bought was $54.95 for 8 ounces. That is enough for 30 acres.
