After you put giant Bermuda seed down. How long should you wait before putting the chicken litter on it?

Thanks
When your runners are about a foot in length.

Not trying to hijack your post but What does one have to pay for chicken litter ? Is it readily available ?and do you ptretty much need your own spreading equipment or can the sellers deliver and spread ?

The old guys that I worked for as a teen used it exclusively and would spread it on their pastures and coastal bermuda year round.... even when nothing was growing. But then they had their own broiler houses as well.

Its 25 a ton here delivered and spread.

I pay about $10 per ton +- delivered in 30 ton loads. Mix it with wood ash from the paper mill and horse, cow and llama manure. Let it sit for a few weeks then run it through the spreader. Did over 250 cubic yards this spring.
